Network & Tech Support Lead

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement conference network infrastructure
- Provide WiFi access for attendees
- Set up Network Operations Center (NOC) if applicable
- Provide technical support for conference systems
Key Activities:
- Coordinate with venue on internet connectivity
- Set up wireless access points and network equipment
- Monitor network performance during event
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Support registration systems and technical infrastructure
- Provide technical assistance to staff and attendees
- Document network configuration and issues
Skills Required:
- Networking knowledge and experience
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Wireless infrastructure setup
- Security awareness
- Customer service orientation
Time Commitment:
- Varies by role and proximity to events
- Expect increased time commitment as events approach
- Conference roles ramp up significantly 1 – 2 months before the event
- Event days typically require full-day commitment
