Project Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Track and manage timelines for all operational and conference activities
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives between year-round and conference teams
- Maintain project documentation and status tracking systems
- Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in planning and execution
- Support both Operations Director and Conference Director with project coordination
- Facilitate communication between teams and ensure alignment on deliverables
Key Activities:
- Create and maintain project schedules and milestone trackers
- Send reminders and follow up on pending tasks
- Document decisions and action items from meetings
- Coordinate logistics for team meetings and planning sessions
- Generate status reports for leadership
- Assist with vendor coordination and contract tracking
Skills Required:
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
- Ability to work with diverse volunteer teams
- Problem-solving mindset
Time Commitment:
- Varies by role and proximity to events
- Expect increased time commitment as events approach
- Most year-round roles: 2 – 5 hours per week
- Event days typically require full-day commitment
