Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all technical aspects of conference
- Manage A/V, recording, photography, networking, and security
- Ensure technical infrastructure supports event needs
- Coordinate with venue on technical requirements and restrictions
Key Activities:
- Assess technical needs for all presentation spaces
- Coordinate equipment rental or procurement
- Manage network infrastructure setup
- Oversee physical and cybersecurity measures
- Troubleshoot technical issues during event
- Ensure backup plans for critical technical systems
Skills Required:
- Strong technical background
- A/V and networking knowledge
- Problem-solving under pressure
- Security awareness
- Vendor and equipment management
Time Commitment:
- Varies by role and proximity to events
- Expect increased time commitment as events approach
- Conference roles ramp up significantly 1 – 2 months before the event
- Event days typically require full-day commitment
